**BoOzy Fridays presents THESS (aloniki) NEGRONI**
The Bar Institute celebrates Negroni Week (6-12 June), an effort to raise money for charitable causes around the world. In 2015, more than 3,500 venues around the world mixed their favorite Negroni variations and raised over $320,000 for charitable causes.

According to David Wondrich , author of “Imbibe” cocktail book, the true origin of the Negroni cocktail lies in an Italian book called Sulle tracche del Conte : la vera stroria del cocktail Negroni, by Luca Picchi , head bartender at Caffe Rivoire in Florence , Italy, who claimed to have written documents to prove the following story.
Around 1920, an Italian Count , Camillo Negroni, frequented in a Florence bar called Bar Casoni, asked the bartender (Fosco Scarselli) to take the soda out of the Americano (Campari, sweet vermouth and club soda) and add gin to the mix to give it more of a kick!

-30ml Gin
-30ml Campari
-30ml Sweet Vermouth

THE BAR ISTITUTE’S contribution / variation to the classic Negroni, with a Greek touch of a Greek distillate, called Tsipouro and the “French help” of AOC Dolan Vermouth:

-15ml Hayman’s Gin
-15ml Tsipouro (free anise) Hatzopoulos
-30ml Martini Bitter
-15ml Kina Lillet Rouge
-15ml AOC Dolin Extra Dry
